Installation

Start Straight

Begin laying the first row of sod along a straight edge, such as a driveway or sidewalk. This will help ensure your rows are straight. Make sure the sod is flat against the soil underneath.

Stagger the Seams

Lay the sod in a brick-like pattern. Stagger the seams between rows so they do not line up. This helps the sod blend together and reduces the risk of erosion

Tight Seams

Place each piece of sod tightly against the next, without overlapping. This helps prevent gaps where weeds could grow.

Trim Edges

Use a sharp knife or sod cutter to trim pieces to fit around curves, trees, and other obstacles.
